This is a story that has been told for many years by the Irish Traveller Community and has been shared through the excellent book 'Why the moon travels' by Oein DeBharduin.
In this story a hardworking goes from door-to-door looking for work to help feed himself and his family. Upon knocking at the door of an elderly lady she tells him of a fish in a local lake that once caught will feed him and his family forever. The man takes a small boat and heads towards the water but after 7 days fishing he's extremely surprised by what he finally pulls into the boat.
