What do you see when you look up at the moon?
As humans we have gazed up at the moon in wonder and amazement for many generations. It has been inspiration for many stories and a guide to help us navigate our own world.
In this beautiful story of courage and selflessness we learn of a new way that the moon can offer us guidance and wisdom.
Following this story consider discussing the following questions with your family:
1- In the story Rabbit is respected by everybody in the forest because it speaks of courage and kindness and also lives by the values of courage and kindness too. Can you think of a time when it was difficult to follow through on your words with actions?
2- The animals in the forest are inspired by Rabbits example- can you think of a time when you have felt inspired by somebody else, who was it and why?
3- Each of the animals are excited to make a difference by sharing and contributing to those who need it most- if you were to do one thing to help those people in need what would you do/give?
