An activity that I often like to use in Yoga classes for families & children is drawing mandalas. It's very accessible to even the younger children, so for Children's Mental Health Week with a focus on expressing ourselves, what could be better than learning how to draw you own mindful mandala to express yourself in whatever way you choose through shape, line & colour.
Items required:
Pen or pencil
Paper/card/board - of choice
Colouring items of choice - paints, felt-tips, colouring pencils, crayons etc if you would like to colour in your mandala afterwards
