Before you begin this session please read and listen to our Introduction to Yoga with We Be Kids. Do not listen to this relaxation whilst operating machinery or driving.
Listen to and/or watch this calming sea meditation be it alone or with your family. Enjoy the sounds of the waters edge and the gentle wind as you get in touch with your breath and the ebb and flow of life. It's a great way to start the day, use this as your #dailygratitude practice or at any time that you can carve a moment.
Whilst using this yoga resources to inspire learning, you are boosting you and your family's wellbeing in the following ways: 2) Keep Learning - The practice of noticing your body and your breath can be learnt and over time you will see how the practice of noticing, feeling can enlighten your everyday for you and your family.
3) Be Mindful- notice how you feel at the start of the practice and how you feel at the end.
4) Practice Kindness- If this is the first time you have practiced a relaxation with your family, encourage them to settle and listen. Know that younger ones may fidget and move throughout - know that this is ok, respond with kindness and let them do what they need to do. We all relax in different ways. They may not know how to express that they are not yet ready to relax in the same way as we do. Watching works for this meditation too.
5) Think Community -Whilst you can of course practice this session alone too, practice with your community - eg your family or family of friends. Share this resource with others if you find it beneficial.
